in the assembly analysis, how to find out contact status after analysis? especially I would like to find which region is in contact after analysis. is there a workaround?

A Contact Pressure Plot will indeed allow visualization of the area of contact as well as its magnitude and direction (it is a vector plot by default), as mentioned in the following KB Solution:
S-022831: "Is it possible to determine the area formed by contact between two components?"
If you would also like to request the ability to calculate the surface area of contact, you can go to The SOLIDWORKS Customer Portal > My Support > Enhancement Requests. Search for 432869 and then click on the Vote for This Enhancement button.
In ABAQUS you can get a COPEN plot which provides a contour plot of the separation between contacts. It is handy thing in some cases. The carpet plot in sim is a very handy thing for assessing the quality of the contact at a glance. Getting this in ABAQUS is a pain and the performance degrades significantly in CAE when vector plots are requested. A carpet plot of separation magnitudes would be very handy. The actual area where separation is zero......I have never really needed since you can obviously get the pressure and a pretty good visual approximation. Maybe the poster can reply with the use case where it's a valuable thing to know please.
Look at the contact pressure plot. It's the only option I have found.
