I have just bought a Lenovo ThinkPad W500 with Vista Buisiness x64, an Intel Centrino vPro processor, 3GB RAM and an ATI Mobility FireGL V5700 with 512MB VRAM. I am using the SolidWorks supplied driver as the Lenovo supplied driver constantly crashes when Solidworks is running. The Solidworks supplied driver was also acting flaky untill I disabled Vistas Aero and a few other minor display settings. Has anyone else experienced this?
I have not had a chance to properly use Solidworks on this system, but my initial impressions are very faverable.
What are some of the opinions of Lenovo customers running SolidWorks?
