Do you know any free/inexpensive screen recording software? There are software which are expensive. I want to record real-time text information as well, not audio. Like the following one.

It depends on what you are trying to do with the screen recording. If you want to embed it in help files or post it directly to the forums, Screentogif works well.
I'm not sure what's a good recorder otherwise, I'd trust Dan's and Kevin's advice on that. But, if you need an editor you can try OpenShot Video Editor | Free, Open, and Award-Winning Video Editor for Linux, Mac, and Windows!. I had been using Vegas (paid for) and rather than upgrade it, I'll probably be using it going forward.
I have attached an example video. Work will be quite similar to that. No help files.
I looked at both Kevin's and Dan's suggestion and yes they do offer free versions. I suggest you take both for a test drive and see which works better. And I've found that spending $20-$30 is not a bad deal if I find the software useful. One of them I saw watermarks the file in the free version. Free isn't always "free" after the time I spend to get a free version to work the way I want...So, if you find one of them meets your needs, it may be worth it to buy it.
And you may end up recording with one that they posted, but cutting and editing the clips in something like Openshot. I'm sure the ones they posted allow that, but Openshot allows multiple tracks and probably has more functionality for overlays, transitions, etc.
While on this subject, if you need to compress the files for whatever reason I recommend HandBrake: Open Source Video Transcoder. I haven't found a simpler or better option.
I use BBFlashback Express. They have the express version (limited abilities) and pro version. Express will record and allow converting to some other video types. Pro allows editing.

Yes, that's why I suggested it. It will at least get you video. Then you can use something like Easy Movie Maker to add text.

There is an option in Flash Back screen recorder to upload the video to YouTube but when I download others videos from YouTube I have not seen any .fbr format. Most of the videos are in MP4 format. Is there any reason for that? I assume most SWX videos are done in screen recording.
I tried Windows+G but it gave following message. I do not have any game in my system.

You can help me in this regard as you are familiar this software. Simply saying I am looking for a software as follows. You can notice "text information and red arrow mark" is placed when editing. Is this possible with Techsmith?

I use TechSmith screen capture software Snagit which is inexpensive to upgrade (CDA34.68) to subscribers but their screen recording software (Camtasia) is very expensive (CAD 346.11) it is said it is a good one for screen recording. My sample is did with Camtasia and uploaded in the YouTube by demonstrator.
In Jing there no option to edit the video. Only editing is possible in Screen Capturing not in Screen Recording.

You'll need editing as well as recording as the text overlays are most likely added post recording rather than in real time.
