After updating to SW2020 SP3.0 I have noticed that the active file name is being cutoff by the search box. All I can see is the first few characters, anyone else having the same problem or know of a fix for it?
Please request your VAR to submit an SR for this issue
when I drag the right window boarder then first the filename moves to the left. At on point it moves no longer at will be eaten up by the search box although there would be still some room on the left. But on my 4k monitor with a scale of 125% (Windows) this is no issue at all at my site.
I normally turn off the search but I'm not seeing it with mine. The one thing they're going to ask is your video card a supported card & are you using the approved driver. Using a 28" set at 100% & a resolution of 1920 X 1080.
How does graphic card and driver affect Window title text placement?
Using non-certified everything.
2020 SP3 right justify the file name instead of the usual center justify in 2019.
Also the title "box" width doesn't shrink properly.
2020SP3 really makes the text of the file name invisible. For the current temporary solution, use the new function "Show in the CommandManager" of 2020SP3, please see the picture below.
This should be fixed in SP4.
Received the following from my VAR yesterday:
The following SPR (SolidWorks Performance Report) status has changed to Implemented.

The SW title actually includes other text, so perhaps with sp3 it's not accounting for this properly:
With SW running (any version or sp), run the attached utility to display your SW title.
