I can start or open a part in Solidworks.
However, when I start sketching/editing, Solidworks crash.
If it may help, the Solidworks FLEXNet server does not run.

The Solidworks Licensing service runs normally.
What do you mean?
You mean License server. Be clearer!
FLEXNet is the service for Solidworks (and other program) license control.
It stopped working today?
What happened before?
You might need to delete license files in FLEXNet folder.
Or uninstall SW and reinstall.
Write down your Serial No, if you haven't done it.
Deactivate the license before you try uninstall.
Sorry for not giving enough details about that.
I have Solidworks2018, I used it for 2 years now
Today, my computer was using 100 % Disk and CPU, So, I disabled all programs (except Windows programs), restart
my computer, then re-enabled all programs.
After that I reactivated the licenses for Solidworks, Autodesk and my other programs.
Then, I opened a Solidworks part I was working on.
When I started sketching, it crashed. Every time I open a part and start sketching, it crashed/
This is when I searched and found the SolidWorks FLEXNet server was not running.
And that Windows could not find the Solidworks server to start the latter.
Thank you for the reply, I will re-install it.
After the Windows update, the file was in a hidden file. How come? I don't know, I did not displace the file.
Just to tell how crap is Windows. All of this is because there was a moron, by the name of Bill, who desperately wanted to sell software to make money. And, he have the guts to say he followed his passion. Somebody who is passionate don't steal to sell, he creates and sells.Like Steve said because of this moron, crap products won the battle.
