You can see in the video the red text for the Toolbox which you will need to fix/resolve first. This might be that you are currently pointing to a toolbox that is in a Network location or vault. If you expand out this section or hover your mouse over the install for a second or two it will give you more info.
Also - I would avoid installing updated via loads of updates which it looks like you are (have been) doing, Much better to download the full file set (~15GB) on the first page then do the install.
Hi Maha,
even SWX Std will install a subset of the Toolbox - the HoleWizard. So please habe a look at this...
Ah - you‘ve uploaded a screenshot meanwhile - here you can see the message about the HoleWizard and lt‘s database which must be in the proper version or has to be converted. Please have a look at the options. And be aware that the conversion makes it inaccessible for older SWX SPs. (just in case that there are some more clients)
As I said, Options / Toolbox:
The standard folder is C:\SOLIDWORKS Data.
If you want to use two different version of SWX, you'll have to have two different folders (Toolboxes) because the included database has to be converted to the matching version of SWX.
I case will not find your 2020 Toolbox:
- Make a copy of the 2019 Toolbox in a new folder.
- Start the Installation routine over and point it to the new folder.
- Point the Options to this folder
Done
I think you have screwed up your installation.
The standard name for the installation folder is SOLIDWORKS Corp. Are there any SOLIDWORKS Corp (1) or similar folders - or where is your individual installation folder? On an other drive?
I got three versions (2018, 2019 & 2020) installed in my computer by using following method.
Installing Multiple Versions of SOLIDWORKS on the Same Machine
