I already have SWX 2020 SP2 standard version and tried to upgrade it to SP3 through the upgrade option provided by SWX but installation is not happening after certain point. How to fix it? video is attached.
... try rebooting?
Last time I had that issue it was something about the Toolbox / Hole Wizard settings that was tripping it up. Can't remember details but hopefully that points you in the right direction.
You can see in the video the red text for the Toolbox which you will need to fix/resolve first. This might be that you are currently pointing to a toolbox that is in a Network location or vault. If you expand out this section or hover your mouse over the install for a second or two it will give you more info.
Also - I would avoid installing updated via loads of updates which it looks like you are (have been) doing, Much better to download the full file set (~15GB) on the first page then do the install.
As I use standard version, tool box issue cannot play the role, because this version does not include Tool Box.
Before Hole Wizard worked but now it popups warning windows.
even SWX Std will install a subset of the Toolbox - the HoleWizard. So please habe a look at this...
Ah - you‘ve uploaded a screenshot meanwhile - here you can see the message about the HoleWizard and lt‘s database which must be in the proper version or has to be converted. Please have a look at the options. And be aware that the conversion makes it inaccessible for older SWX SPs. (just in case that there are some more clients)

Thanks for the information.
This is empty in 2020v also empty in 2019v as well.
This is not the place to look at.
Hole Wizard Favorites are absolutely optional - it's not the database itself.
Have a look at Options / Toolbox and you'll find the folder in wich the Hole Wizard (Toolbox) is stored.

Do you know where find it?
As I said, Options / Toolbox:
The standard folder is C:\SOLIDWORKS Data.
If you want to use two different version of SWX, you'll have to have two different folders (Toolboxes) because the included database has to be converted to the matching version of SWX.
I case will not find your 2020 Toolbox:
- Make a copy of the 2019 Toolbox in a new folder.
- Start the Installation routine over and point it to the new folder.
- Point the Options to this folder
This folder is missing in 2020v. I tried to do what you mentioned. But it does not work.
So please update the copy of the database manually:
I cannot see any file in this folder.
I think you have screwed up your installation.
The standard name for the installation folder is SOLIDWORKS Corp. Are there any SOLIDWORKS Corp (1) or similar folders - or where is your individual installation folder? On an other drive?
I got three versions (2018, 2019 & 2020) installed in my computer by using following method.
Installing Multiple Versions of SOLIDWORKS on the Same Machine

Maha,... I have about the same set of subdirectories,.. so, maybe something with the SP3.0 install is not registering the correct directory?
I'm tempted to try the SP3.0 update and test,... hmm?
So please have a look into each directory as well at its date. I think this will tell you in wich directory SWX 2020 resides. Or start your installation routine again and have a closer look there. Sry - but I can‘t play your video on my iPad...
I did a system clean up and reinstall again instead of upgrading, it now works as usual.
..yeah, upgrades are iffy and have messed things up in the past,.. my last updates were all full sp5.0's.. and the full *.exe install of 2020 sp2.0 after I converted to Windows 10 .. I may strip 2020 sp2.0 and do the full sp3.0 install?
