Help required with Simulation

Hi All,

I have a real life part which has been bent from a 70kg load. I have attached pictures to show the part, there is an arm which gets pulled to raise the cylindrical device. The red line shows where it gets pulled from. This arm has been bent to the left as shown in the real picture.

I have tried to run simulation with 1000N of load but the part doesn't seem to be affected by the load.

I'm wondering if there is something I'm missing in this simulation?

I've also attached the original part file, named as real part. There is a spindle which rotates the part. Do I need to try a different method of trying to get the part to bend at 1000N of force? How do I fix the part and have the part be able to rotate at the spindle? Should I remove the fixed surface in the simulation and have a remote mass acting as the cylinder?

Kind Regards,

Babar.
