How I delete template from the New document tab?
You have to remember where did you save the template.
Or do a search from C:\ for *.prtdot
I do not think you can do that, you need to have the templates to start the new file.
Why you want to do that?
Mr. Gupta. its actually I created a template of part through one of the tutorials and now I can't find the location of that template. Those three template part, assy, and dwg is there but I can't see the one I create through a tutorial. I want to delete the template I made through a tutorial.

Is the below what you see when you try to start a new document? If yes, click on the "Advanced" button in the lower left corner. Now does the template show up? If yes, and you still want to delete it, go to Tools > Options > System Options > File Locations > Document Templates and see what folder location is shown. You should be able to Browse to that location and delete the template.
the path is there but i can't locate. thank you anyway.
Deepak, deleting all of your templates allows solidworks to create a fresh new template. If it sees no templates it will create a new one for you.
Which template you want to del? Part Assembly or Drawing?
Anyways you can delete the templates from below given location.
After deleting, when you again click on new, Solidworks will create new set of templates.
I hope this information helps you.
Karen thank you for reply, I found that but I can't find file I created through a tutorial. I want to delete that extra template.
Mark this as correct. Because it is.
the path is there but the doctument is not there. I dont know where it hides, I tried to search like frederick say. but no luck. thank you any way.
I SolidWorks, go to File, Open Recent. See if the file is there.
Either you didn't save it on this drive. Or overwritten the other template.
yes, Frederick, the file is there, it shows the location of saving and follow location path but can't locate that file. any way thank you for your time. it is not gonna a problem.
sorry, Frederick its work. your earlier post say C:\for*.prtdot. I followed in C:\ and its shows up but when I try to follow the path located into document template it doesn't show up. Thank you for your time. I really appreciate.
