Is there a way to get the size of what is shown in a drawing view

I have sketches that I need to show in a sheet. The sketch is always smaller than the model that the sketch is in. IN the case below you can see the size of the sketch vs. the size of the view. The view being the dotted blue line.

 

 

I would like to determine the size of what is shown in the view (the black lines above) rather than the size of the entire view (the blue dotted lines). I am sure that I could write something that determines the max/min of the X, Y and Z of each components or elements of the black lines above that are shown. Before I went to that kind of work I wanted to check if there was already something that exists in the Solidworks API that gives me this.

 

I have searched for this and nothing that would work pops up for me. As Josh Brady will attest I have had a unfortunate inability lately of not being able to find what I am looking for in Solidworks help though!
