is it possible to add explorer command (on right click) that would generate a conisio hyperlink (example: CONISIO://EPDM/OPEN?PROJECTID=4770&DOCUMENTID=98055&OBJECTTYPE=1) and copy it to clipboard?
PDM 2018 and later: Right click, 'Copy Link'.
Paste only works into HTML aware editors such as Outlook though.
If you are wanting to paste the link into non-HTML aware editors and are using PDM Pro, you can have a data card button create the hyperlink for you.
Create a button on the data card, set the button's command type to "Command String" and enter this code in for the command:
powershell.exe "$v=New-Object -COMObject ConisioLib.EdmVault;$v.LoginAuto('%2',0);$fo=$v.RootFolder;$f=$v.GetFileFromPath('%1',[ref]$fo);$fi=$f.id;$foi=$fo.id;Set-Clipboard -Value \"conisio://%2/explore?projectid=$foi&documentid=$fi&objecttype=1\""
If you want to see more details or how it works, I have the write-up here.
Thanks. This actually works.
I wish also there was a hyperlink to a file without folder dependancy. So if someone moves a file to some random place the link would not stop working.
Actually as long as projectid number existis it will open the file. So basically projectid=1 might be the right way.
