I'm missing something for sure. I assumed if the property is in the part file then it would auto-populate in the drawing file like I got the part number to do. I've tried every property that sounded like it would work but, nothing does.

Yes, I'm looking for the drawing custom properties to equal the part custom properties. I got the part number to auto-populate but couldn't figure out the description. I don't want them to pull from a location. The part number seems to populate perfectly.
Unfortunately like I said above if you want a drawing custom property to pull from a parts custom property that this cannot be linked. If you have SOLIDWORKS PDM that you use then this can be done. If you are looking for the value of the description to be shown inside of the drawing this is possible then but it cannot be linked to the drawings custom property.

Are you looking for the drawings custom property to equal the parts custom property? If so this cannot be linked. For the example you show it looks like you are just pulling a file location. Is this always the case and is this location the location of the part and drawing file? If so instead of the drawing pulling from the part you can have both pull from the file path of the files.
