I set up a macro to run my comments when opening a file. It worked in 2018 but I can not seem to get it to work in 2019. Do equations refresh/run when you open a part? I have attached the macro and a screen shot.

Did you attach it to the file so the comments were shown when the file was opened. Or did you run the macro after the file was open. I can run the macro after the file is open and it works but I am trying to make the macro run while opening the file. I was under the understanding that equations regenerated every time the file was opened. Any suggestions?
Based on the appearance of "A"=1 in the Equations portion of your feature tree, it appears that you are trying to trigger this macro with an equation. If you want us to diagnose that, you'll have to attach a file that contains the equation you're wanting to use to trigger the macro.
That said, you may have noticed in the forum that a recent update to Office seems to have wreaked havoc with a lot of things SW related, both for equations and for design tables.

Is there a work around that you know of for the problems created the the update to Office? By the way you are the one who help me set this up so the comments would open in a message box when someone would open the file. It stopped working when my IT department update my station to Windows 10.

Sorry, I've not investigated the actual content, because I've not been having issues myself. There are about five different threads about it though.
Wayne, I apologize if I misunderstood your issue, but you are using equations to run the macro on rebuild, right? If so, here is an alternative option: Macro feature to automatically run SOLIDWORKS macro on rebuild , you can also run the macro on model load etc. Another way is to use the free MyToolbar - custom macro library manager which also has an option to run macros on certain triggers.
Artem Taturevich I ran the embed macro as you suggest but the comments do not show when the model is opened or rebuilt. Please look at the picture attached. I am running SW2019 SP5
Can anyone help me with this?
