wraping type on cylinder surface? is it possible?

OK it is Possible. But not if you create a line of type on a plane above a cylinder.  I spent an hour trying to get it to work.

None of the feature tools are active when I tried.

** (klunky unacceptable)  Work-Around:

I had to create "Boss-Extrude" from a plane "Up to surface" of my cylinder, to get an emboss I did not want.

Then I "Suppressed" that "Boss Extrude" and returned to the "Sketch"  > and VIOLA the Features were active.

However I could only get the #3 tool "Scribe" to work without bs traffic-cop objections from SW20.

You know what, I'll take it

There is NO Intuitive way to wrap type around a cylinder. I'll finish it in another App.
