My Solidworks License Manager does not show up in my menu. I need to switch my license with another user, but I can't do this without accessing the SLM. Unless there is another way to give him my professional license?
I was searching for something similar when I ran across your question.
I'm guessing that you probably have a solution by now, but if you don't . . .
It sounds like you have a network license with mixed seats of SolidWorks (Standard and Professional).
If you have a Professional license, and someone else needs to use it, the quickest method would be for you to turn off any add-ins that are part of the Professional license (Toolbox, FeatureWorks, PhotoView, etc.)
The checkbox on the left hand side is for this particular session, and the check box on the right hand side is to start SolidWorks with the add-in loaded.
The license manager will give you a Standard license unless you are using an add-in that is part of Professional.
Per the image above, I will receive a Professional license because of the add-ins that I have selected for start up.
If I un-check all of these, and start SolidWorks, the license manager will give me a Standard license.
I hope this helps!
