I have to connect my Solidworks Manage Client pc to Server located in other region/different network. So i & other side persons can work on the same dashboard.
Any reference video/ guide will be helpful
That is a hard question because you don't give any specifics about the two networks. Off the top of my head you need to create a VPN between the client machine and the network the server is on. We use Cisco AnyConnect, but there are many different versions.
The two network, i mean we located in two different cities & wanted make any one machine a server so that my colleagues from different places can get the access of the main server also we will have online access of files & real time dashboard display.
Hi Muhammad ,
there are afew ways to get this done , the easiest is to use the web client , especially if it is just for viewing dashboards. it comes preinstalled with Manage and can be configured fairly easily, that way they would just need an internet connection and a browser.
the second options would be to pic a "main location" for the data and then have everyone else VPN in and configure their SWMC file to point to that instance of Manage.
