From what I found so far you can't mate flexible sub assembles, however it seems to be odd.
Simple example:
I have a standard clamp with limits so I can adjust it to part at the final assembly. I want to use this clamp on any part that fits under the limits of the clamp.
At the finial assembly the clamps move as I want but now I want to mate them or somehow lock them to a part but I can't.
Not sure if I do something wrong or this perfect solution is not fully develop by SW?

There is no such restriction. You can freely mate separate instances of flexible subassemblies to each other. What you cannot do is add something like a distance mate between two components in the same instance of a flexible subassembly.

I'm bit lost on this. So simple question is can i mate flexible component of a sub assy?
This should be easy. Very easy.
Attach your assembly here and end all doubt.
In Sub-assembly Property window check this option. Must work
In the attachment:
A - a bolt
B - a block
C - part
sub - A and B put together. A has limits so it can move
assy - C and two "subs", the two subs are in specific location. I want to move/mate only the orange part A (bolt) which is in flex mode in a way it touch the part.

What happens when you try to mate the end face of the bolt tangent to the part? Does it give you an error? Does it not do what you expect?
Jim Sculley if I select the OD of the part I'm unable to select the bolt to make it tangent, and if i select end of bolt I can't select the OD of the part
Jim Sculley my bad, for whatever reason SW didn't recognized tangent mate so I couldn't select OD. I had to do it manually.
And with this it works I also noticed that rebuilding is important other wise the entire component move instead of just the flexible piece.

I rarely use flexible sub-assemblies, but I'll try to help. You can mate them, but you can't mate one component of the sub-assembly to another one in the upper level assembly. You should be able to fully Mate it by mating to other components.
