I've been trying to play with Visualize off and on since it was introduced. Trouble is, when I try to open a file in it, nothing appears, and it crashes.
Heck, I'd use Photoworks 360, but it doesn't work like it used to, either.
Hi Alan - This sounds like an install issue, probably with a component called DirectX which is required to enable the viewport in Visualize (and other tools too). I would recommend doing a full uninstall/re-install, making sure that upon install, you acknowledge any of the Windows UAC installation pop-ups. I've seen scenarios where the install will proceed and skip over a component if the UAC prompt is ignored.
As a backup, if the above process doesn't work, you can search for and install Microsoft DirectX 9c manually (If you're using Windows 10, I think there is an additional step to actually activate it after its install so look into that too. This is included with the Visualize install so it *should* be installed and activated automatically per above.
If neither of these options work, consider reaching out to your support channel.
Thanks and all the best
