I want to insert a part before another in an assembly. Usually I can just move the blue bar up in the tree. Is there a way to do this in an assembly? It doesn't allow me to move the bar.

You can drag parts around in the tree as you like, so insert your new part then rearrange as required by clicking and dragging the part in the tree.
Also, you can put pictures directly in to your forum post, you don't need to produce a Word document to share images.
If you find you have difficulty arranging parts and sub assemblies, pro tip:
you can place a part or sub assy in a Folder and move the folder where ever you lke.
