I am trying to produce drawings from pipe routing. The drawing will show all views other than isometric. Once I go to the model, when I try to look a isometric view, it goes to front view. Very strange behaviour. Has anyone noticed the same?

Hi Patel,
Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the late reply.
When I go to the view pallet and select isometric, the view defaults to front view. I think its a program glitch, maybe a setting issue. I say that because I tried preparing piping drawings on a different computer with SW2017 and I can get it to work there.
The issue is when i try to get the isometric view as you show in the snap shot. If i actually try to create a drawing, rather than use the piping drawing feature, the isometric view shows up but obviously this is not the right way to do it since you wont get BOM to automatically generate.

I'm not familiar with the Routing portion of SW, and it sounds like that's where the problem is, so it doesn't look like I'll be able to help. Sorry about that.
Sam, what happened if you open "view palette" from the task pane, does the isometric view show in the below window? what happen when you click drawing > property manager > orientation > selection Isometric give you same results described in the question?
