How to edit Base Configuration in Routing with API?

Question asked by Grant Holohan on Mar 25, 2020

When using API to create a new Tube Route does anyone know how to set the Tube file and Base Configuration?

When I use StartRoute is just preselects a Tube size based on the connection point but I'm trying to figure out how to change the wall thickness.

I have a connection point inside a component called "Component" that I'm trying to use to start the route.

Here's a sample in C#:

AssemblyDoc swAsm;  //the top level assembly file
ModelDocExtension swModelDocExt;  //the top level assembly files ModelDocExtension
...
RouteManager rtRouteManager = swAsm.GetRouteManager();
swModelDocExt.SelectByID2("CPoint1@Component@topLevelAssemblyName", "CONNECTIONPOINT", 0, 0, 0, false, 0, null, 0);
rtRouteManager.StartRoute("", "");  //this starts a route based on the selected connection point but doesn't let me choose what file or configuration to use for the tube (e.g. tube wall thickness)

Or hoping to be able to modify after creating the route.
