I'm looking for a solution/macro for loading files .cadpart to solid works and save them to .xt and .sldprt automatic.
Do you have such a solution?
Thank you in advance for any tip.

Are you able to open them manually OR have you written the correct file extension?
File extension are : *.CATPart ; *.CATProduct convert to *.sldprt, (parasolid) *.x_t
Yes I'm able to open them manually, I would like to speed up the conversion process.
The attached macro is a rough example of how it can be done. It assumes you are using 3D Interconnect since you are referencing CATIA files.
FYI, when using 3D Interconnect to open CATIA Products (assemblies), you don't need to import the parts and sub-assemblies separately. You could just break all references and save them as external models. The newly created SOLIDWORKS assemblies from this macro will not reference the imported SLDPRT files.
The Convert macro it's working but no fully automatic, because the loading process is suspended.
When the files are loading I have to choose is it a part file(.CATPart) or assembly file(.CATProduct).
What can we do with this? To fully automate this process.
Check your option settings and make sure you have default templates selected for parts and assemblies.
Thanks a lot, I've changed the settings and now it's working correctly.
Is it possible little improvements in this code?To add one more step, so that the macro can also checking the folders (one more loop) in the indicated location.
Present after we point out where the files are located macro is looking for catia files and do not checking the folders in the location(where sometimes there are also .CATPart/.CATProduct files).
