Doing a simple sheet metal bend, is it possible to add a groove/guide where the bend is, almost like a trench all along where the bend is to help when the bend is done in real life?
Can you Attach the *.sldprt of your attempt here?

I already looked at it and responded 20 minutes ago.
I think his reply got stuck in moderation
Yeah, that thought occurred to me after I posted.
Hopefully an image will be forthcoming. I think I know what the OP is after, but not certain.
Man this forum is going downhill - can't get in after quote, so I have to do before quote. And what happened to the HTML button?

I gave Jeff Wygum 1000pts this morning so that he won't feel left out.
Without being able to see your project, I would inscribe a line on an "etch layer" that is coincident with your bend line. You may need to communicate with your vendor about what layer to use
You have a convoluted work flow there - do you have an image of a similar part in the real world that has the feature you would like to include in this part?
(I would start over and use sheet metal tools from the start. I would not repeatedly Unfold/Fold.)
In a previous job we cut all of our sheet metal with a laser. We would add 1.00" long etch lines at each side of the part at every bend in the nesting software (Sigma Nest).
