Split tunnel VPN access to PDM - for working from home due to Coronavirus?

As a potential contingency, we are looking at getting the CAD users to from home and to access the PDM pro and network licences via VPN.

We don't have particularly fast internet access at our place of work, sadly Australia is lacking in this regard at 39 Mbps upload/download (tested when no one else in the building).

Yesterday I read an article about Split tunnel VPN's Microsoft—and Ars—advise split-tunnel VPNs to minimize coronavirus woes | Ars Technica and wondering how to set up such a system for use with PDM and network licencing?

Essentially a split-tunnel VPN would only route internet traffic related to PDM to our server, all other internet traffic would be local to minimise bandwidth.

Hope someone here has experience setting up a split-tunnel VPN with PDM and advise how to do so?
