need help creating views for AutoCAD

    Brad Braune
Here is what I'm trying to do. I have a 3D model of a part created. I need to dump the geometry into AutoCAD model space so it can have dimensions added like it was originally drawn in AutoCAD. I know it is not the best way to do make a 2D dwg, but that is what the process is here. I create a 2D dwg in SW using a blank sheet at 1:1 scale. I make sure all my views are at 1:1 scale. I save it as a .dwg file with my scale output enabled and showing sheet scale of 1:1. After it saves, I go to AutoCAD to open the new dwg, the scale is way off. My part is 24" wide and measures 60.96 in AutoCAD. No matter how I configure the sheet scale or view scales in the SW dwg before I save it as a .dwg file, I can't get it to show the true size of the part in AutoCAD. What am I missing?
