Hello Solidworks community , I am working on a project for my engineering class and I am in the final stretch of it, but I have run into a bit of a snag. So basically I have this axle with tires and rotors mounted to it, I have tried several different methods to get it to work, but nothing seems to be working. When calculating the motor, the whole axle spins, but the tires and wheels don't spin at all. My main goal is to get both tires and wheels to spin while the axle is static, and I don't get why that isn't happening because I did set the axle as fixed in its subassembly. In this assembly, it is connected to the chassis, which is fixed.
When applying the motor to the axle by itself in its own assembly file, both tires and wheels spin, but I have to make the axle float (not fixed) for that to happen and when that happens, the axle itself moves away from the screen with the tires spinning too. Any help would be much appreciated, I really need this done by Monday so that would be awesome!
