How To Identify Assembly Configurations In A Multi-Configuration BOM Table?

So I have a top assembly with multiple configurations.  Within that top assembly, there is one sub-assembly component that has four configurations which are differentiated by the part number followed by "-01", "-02", ...  I am able to show the four top assembly quantity columns with the correct quantity values just fine (not shown in images).  The issue I am having is there does not appear to be a way to label or differentiate the four top assembly quantity columns.  They all just show "QTY" and this is not editable.  There needs to be a way to relate these quantity columns to the specific top assembly configurations.  See the two images, first is the way it currently displays and second shows how crudely how I would like to identify the columns.  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
