HOW on earth do you get rid of / delete old section views I made (from an Assembly). I need to clean up this mess because it makes performance / loading of my drawing palette EXTREMELY SLOW. And i can't find a way to delete these. Please help.
I made these old section views from my assembly file, while finding a section view, hitting save and saving as a "drawing annotation view."
any help appreciated

I actually FIXED this myself. I finally found out how to do this and thought I would share
Just go to the part / assembly with the annotation views you're trying to delete, and right click on them and "delete"
They will no longer appear / show up in the Drawing palette and clog up / slow your refresh
I already deleted mine, but i had close to 100 section views made and it was unbearable.
Are you using SW2018? We have worked on improving load times for View Palette in recent releases, I believe SW2019 or SW2020.
Yep, SW2018, that would explain it. yeah I would be absolutely stoked if this loading time was less. It is really especially bad on large assemblies. but on single parts it's still sorta slow. I make a lot of drawings and without being able to delete the old section views for special drawings it was NOT usable. I am very relieved and happy I found a way to reduce load time by deleting the old views

2018 SOLIDWORKS Help - Section View PropertyManager (Models)
at the bottom is asks tells you how to save, but it does not say how to delete. I have so many saved now that my drawing palette is basically not usable. it takes 3 min to load.
