In the help section below, it states to shift+Right click then choose "hide border"
However, mine only shows "Hide Table"

Click on the cell
On the floating menu you will have the option. Then click on the border you want to edit.

Do you have to turn that option on?
It is not on my floating toolbar.
What is your SW version ?
I am currently running Solidworks 2018.
