How can visualize boost benefit for a single user system with solidworks visualize pro ( means with no network/server facilities)?
Isn't BOOST sending some packages to other machines to do some rendering/calculations??
if you don't have other machines in network - I don't see how it can help you then...
YEAH,... i know that, but still had a doubt....so what if i had two systems...with solidworks visualize on one and the other with a high end cad modeling/rendering software( not solidworks). will visualize boost help in this case?
I only replied as I understood your post - meaning you were on single machine....
But if you have/might have more units then this:
SOLIDWORKS Visualize Boost | SOLIDWORKS
I guess you could either do your prep on one machine and send render to another one - and carry on working on something on main machine...
...or you could use both machines to finish render quicker - that's how i understand it.
so you say that my both systems should run solidworks visualize boost OR how does the combo work
(CASE 1) system 1: solidworks visualize pro with boost ; system 2: solidworks 3Dcad OR any high end cad software.
(CASE 2) system 1: solidworks visualize pro with boost ; system 2: solidworks visualize (without boost).
(CASE 3) system 1: solidworks visualize pro with boost ; system 2: no cad software (but with a good GPU).
I don't have one, so can't say. but from what I've read I think boost is separate software to install on another mechine.
I'm pretty sure machine with boost doesn't need any CAD software
yeah might be, visualize boost can be bought with a separate license i guess..!!!?
