Hi, I am trying to generate fluid volume inside attached assembly. I trial intersect and combine tool but didn't work at all.
can someone please help me out?
I really appreciate your time.
My suggestion is to make a 'lid' on your top part if you want to use an Intersect or Combine approach.
Seems like the maths would be easier to simply subtract the volume of the bodies: (6 1.8-1-solid1 and 6 1.8-1-solid2) from the volume of the room with that top stack.
You can get the volumes of those bodies using Mass Properties.
Those bodies create some really small sliver geometries that might be annoying to merge using a boolean body model technique.
Pour beer! Next week in Nashville they will give for points!
Vrish, what volume are you looking for exactly? The volume inside the auger type unit?
If so I'd recommend creating a Boss Extrude through the center section and using the "Cavity" tool to subtract the 6 1.8-1 solid1 body from it. Then simply measure the volume from said Boss Extrude and you should have what you're looking for.
Sometimes you can copy inner faces, close holes (inlets, outlets) join it and... ready
Sorry but I have old version SW (I don't see your geometry).
