The "Pattern Driven Component Pattern" is a tremendous asset when working with assemblies containing hardware (and I occasionally use it for non-hardware components).  However, that "Select Seed Position" checkbox shouldn't be necessary.  I can't believe the code couldn't have been written to use the location that contains components as the seed location.  It seems like they slapped a bandaid on a problem instead of fixing it.

I can't imagine a situation where I wouldn't want the seed position to be the location that contains components, but if there is one then by all means leave the button.  However, the default seed position should always be the one with components.
