My solidoworks 2020 toolbox will not load and everytime I try to add it in I get ".\toolbox\swbrowser.dll cannot be loaded. Either the add-in or one of its components is missing." I have already repaired my installation. I can go into the toolbox and configure it but it will not add-in to my solidworks.
SW2020 Pro 1.0 and already did a repair.
I have the same problem. SW Professional, clean installation of 2019, no toolbox.
Especially with a clean installation of Pro you should, by default, get Toolbox installed. I recommend running the SWX installation and selecting Repair. Carefully go through the process and make sure Toolbox is installed. Pay particular attention to the directory where Toolbox is installed. Be sure to set the system options for Hole Wizard/Toolbox to that directory.
If that doesn't work you should call your VAR.
Okay. Repairing did not work. I had to completely uninstall SW2020 and reinstall. It is currently working and auto-loading in when I start SW2020. Thanks.
What version of SWX do you have? Toolbox is available with Professional and Premium versions, but not Standard. If you have had any issues with SWX you might:
1. Go to Help ==> About to see what version it says you are running.
2. Run a repair of your installation.
3. If you are not on the latest service pack and are willing to go to a more recent one then just do this instead of #2, as that will also affect a repair of your installation.
