i've already searched for this problem (search Geneva
Mechanism in "animation and motion/simulation") and read the two
posts and i've looked at the assemblies, motion simulations and
videos, but I can't figure out how to make the cross/rotor spin
while engaged with the drive pin, then stop while the input crank
finishes it's rotation. in the video, the rotor spins with the pin
engaged, but then it still follows it with the pin disengaged. i
could have sworn i saw this as a tutorial from solidworks a couple
years ago, maybe between '05 and '07 maybe?
any help is greatly appreciated. like one of the posts above, this is for a college project, so the only gains i would reap from this is a pat on the back for doing something extra haha.
thank you for your time,
