I'm looking for a way to open up all of the parts in an assembly & rebuild the bounding box to the proper size of the part. Since Solidworks finds it inappropriate to resize a bounding box if it's turned off, I'm looking for an easier way than opening each part & showing & then hiding the bounding box & then saving it to go back to the assembly or drawing & do it all over again. I have a simple macro that I created when I have the part open to show & hide the bounding box but this would be much easier to have it done sort of automatically without the intervention of having to open & save the part. Does anyone have any good way of doing this. I've looked at the #TASK program & didn't see anything there that would help. I don't want to have bounding boxed on all of the time & hit the HIDE ALL TYPES & choose the bounding box as that still keeps the box available in the drawing to get picked so that's not an option.
