It is possible to change the color of an individual elements of a sketch (2D or 3D) but not the entire sketch?
you can - but the individual colors are only visible while editing that particular sketch.
For 2D, if you're sketching on the drawing sheet, you can use different colored lines. But it wouldn't be connected to a model view. You might try converting a model view to a sketch, and then coloring the lines.
Thank you all for responding to my question. I need to change the color in a 2D or 3D final sketch in a part or assembly file, not in a drawing, I forgot to specify! After editing and exiting the sketch I want to still be able to display a particular element in the sketch with the color set up in the editing state.
I'd like to 2nd Jeremiah Feist: That's not possible. Different colors only while editing the sketch. And one color for the whole sketch when the sketch is closed.
Thank you all!
