Hello,
I am using stand alone software that produces a solid model and can only export in .stl/.wrl/.dat/.sat file formats. Is there a way that I can import any of these file types, run featureworks and edit the part?

If not, is there an easy way to convert any of those file formats to step files? I know that commercial software exists, but is it do-able to do this my self?
