Hello, I have this imported strip that I would like to convert to sheet metal and get a flat from it. What is the best way to go about this?

This will not be able to turn into sheet metal in SOLIDWORKS due to the compound bends as this appears to either be a stamped or rolled part. Even the surface flatten feature could not get a straight flat pattern (see image).
Your best bet would either be measuring the outer edge and getting the flat pattern "old school" calculation, or you would have to look into an add-in that will handle these types of sheet metal shapes.
There is a list of them here.

Also, there is also one that handles all types of shapes which could be useful with this type of solid.
