Hi all, I've been working on a sheet-metal model and I've gotten to the point of trying to close up the corners. For the corners I would like a 50% overlap for some sections and a butt join for others. 

When I try and use closed corners it will auto-select the faces to extend and match fine but it won't go through with it. It comes up with an error saying it "can't find the other bend to close the corner" (see attached photo). I think it is to do with the extended-tear fold in the middle as it isn't planar. does anyone know how to get around this so that they all connect up?

The fold works with "open bend region" ticked but the geometry doesn't then connect properly. Any help would be appreciated
