I've been on at the boss to get some professional photography for our appearances for a while now and he's finally on board. So much so I've got a meeting with the photographer lunchtime tomorrow.
I'm thinking we should photograph of our wood in the raw condition, with as flat lighting as possible,
then add any colours required in photoshop... or can Visualize add colour?
Our boards can be around ~4300mm x 600mm so that's pretty big file depending on the resolution.
I also imagine the images will have to be stitched together.
This is going to be a reasonably expensive exercise in regards to time, effort and money. So I was hoping someone could share any experience they have for best results.
Here's a sample I made with my phone, but the lighting is so inconsistent the highlights are all wrong (bottom left panel mould stands out the most) still it's way better than standard.
Also the resolution is not so good for detailed views. I need a good compromise. Thanks for looking.
