All I need is to overlay dxf/dwg files over each other to compare accuracy. I still design in SW. You'd think $1600 a year sub for SW Pro would cover the $99/yr Draftsight.
Our maintenance costs are over 40k € per year and we also have no draft for free ...
Hmmm free draft, that's a good idea.
For those $10 glass it should be free refill.
Well ...Now we are using a lot more of Autodesc than before ...
A nice replacement for DraftSight is nanoCAD. Enjoy a free version:
I agree with this sentiment. The subscription fees are high enough to cover this basic 2d drafting package.
It will be the same with Visualize, it will be free for a couple years until people start to rely on it, then they'll pull the plug on the free version and start sending invoices.
well i got Spoiled with a full version of Autocad and Cadworx, when I moved back to the home town. I had found macros that could do all kinds of neat things that were taking me a week to do. Now if draft sight has those capabilities now maybe worth the $$$... the little i used it i was not very impressed with how it worked but for a free Version...who could complain.
