I am a long time Inventor user (19 years), Inventor certified professional, and CAD Administrator.  My company is exploring the possibility of switching from Autodesk Inventor to Solidworks for our primary CAD package.  Has anyone been through this transition?  What was your experience like?  Is there anything to make the transition smoother/faster?  What have you found the pros and cons are?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
