I have not seen anything online about the t-shirts this year. Are they doing away with them or are they just making their own design and we don't get to vote?
Since the SWW is being nixed, it would be appropriate to wear T-Shirts with this on the back.....
I'll take two.
I had some ribbons made up that say RIP SWW 1999-2019. I had 100 made and will be handing them out next month.
Derek Sheets - The Honor Badge would be perfect for that, but only if you know the story.. The W is the middle finger
This is the only shirt that you will need for this conference -
Every Kid Gets A Robot | Bonfire
I ordered mine already.
I've asked some SW employees about the t-shirt contest. Nobody has known anything definitive, except that the contest hadn't even been discussed this year. SWW didn't always have a contest, or even multiple shirt designs to choose from. Once upon a time, everybody got the same shirt, designed presumably by someone at SW.
My opinion is that they decided to go back to that for at least this first year of 3DXW. Not an entirely unwarranted decision, as far as I'm concerned. I myself was planning on submitting an #SWW20 shirt design just to see what happened. Any votes my design received would have represented those of us who still resent being force-fed the 3DX.
Creating a single, corporate-approved shirt design that will likely represent the community-melding and unity that they want 3dxw20 to embody is their only good choice. For some it'll be a favorite new shirt and for others it'll be a new shop towel.
Part of me wants to make a shirt like this:
The Conference Formerly Known
As SolidWorks World
Todd Blacksher I got mine.
Great design, BTW. Did you do that?
I would vote for that one.
Steven - I did the basic hex design with the internal elements, Danielle added the traces to the outside as well as the words above the hexes, and Kam made a few tweaks, helped with the final decision making, and launched the campaign on Bonfire.
I will be creating a full post for the shirts shortly . . .
We wouldn't be talking about this now if it weren't for Kam, he really pushed me to finish messing around with the design, and got it rolling in record time.
I know somebody else who will be handing out the same ribbons
I added a link to your "Bonfire" page for the EKGAR T-Shirts to the 3DEXPERIENCE WORLD 2020 FYI: post
If we could just make that design into a pin or sticker that we could attach to our badges or Lanyards or a sideways Ribbon that we could attach to our badges with our other ribbons.
I had some sideways ribbons made up, they say RIP SWW 1999-2019. I will be handing them out next month, i have 100 of them so hit me up if you would like on.

I will trade you a sweet SwugOne "Up To Next" button AND beer mat for one of these!
Every time I see the title 3DExperience World, it seems like other big conferences. I expect all 3D CAD companies to be there, not only SW. ;-)
Here are the ones that Todd Turner had made up. Maybe I can get 1 of each
just hit me up next month
I refer to it as the SolidWorks conference still when talking to others. The new name is not well known yet.
It's more like.....
In reality its the SolidWorks Experiment 2020
I'm not going this year. I'm starting a new job in a couple weeks.
Also, I have a grandson due that week.
Hopefully next year.
