Hi,

I have a multi-body part that I need to export to DXF. It can be either individual DXF for every part, or, more conveniently, one DXF with all parts nested side by side. I will be importing this DXF into free online nesting tool called Nesting Center. That software will take care of proper nesting - all I have to do in SOLIDWORKS is make sure the parts do not overlap in the DXF file, so their outlines be recognized.

Since I have a lot of bodies in my file (52), I needed a convenient way to create a configuration where these parts would be moved away from each other so they don't overlap, before exporting. Exploded View is perfect for this, because it is very quick and convenient to move these bodies away (as opposed to the Move-Copy feature).

Problem is, I cannot seem to find a way to export DXF in this exploded view. I enable the exploded view, go File-Save As, choose DXF, but the resulting DXF shows my part in non-exploded state.

I am attaching the file in question to this post. Can someone advise on the best way to do this?
