I haven't open this program in a few days. Now when I try to open it I'm getting this error message.
Anybody have the answer as to what it's trying to tell me ?

You have two sessions of SW running.
Use Task Manager to kill your SW sessions and relaunch.
That was not really necessary but would have worked either way.

I think I found the the problem. Thank you.
I know you've "solved" the problem, but understanding the message will go further.
It tells you the problem right in the message.
Solidworks should still open once you click "OK" but autorecover will not work for that session.
I understood the part "another session of SOLIDWORKS is already running" but couldn't seem to find it.
There was indication at the bottom of my screen of two files open but I kept trying to open them and was not getting the full screen to resume. So the parts "journal file" and "auto recover" was stumping me. I did click "OK" everytime but it never continued which also stumped me. I finally did the "End Task" to close it. I've had software glitches with SW several times before so thought this may have been one of those jams.
But thanks for the advise. I'm learning.
