Trying to make a build to use various CAD, Media Content, Editing, 3d Animation and Modelling packages, most of whihc appear to work fine with a 11GB EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti card. A lot better than a Quadro one, Solidworks appears to be one of the very few saying only Quadro cards are certified but what exactly does that mean? It works more accurately with Quadro or not at all with others like the Geforce card listed above.?
Thinking of gettign the Quadro at some point but as this would be primarily to lear and Practice wit Solidworks as opposed to professional work is it essentail at this point to stick with Quadro 4000RTX
If you need to buy a video card now, buy Quadro.
If you have one already, use it.
I'm using GTX1070. No big problem, maybe some graphic anomaly.
Certify means someone had time to test and make sure nothing is wrong.
Non-certify mean someone didn't bother to test. So it may or may not have problem.
