I have an engineering drawing but I changed the dimensions in the part file. Is there a way to automatically have it reflect to the drawing?
That's kind of the whole point of parametric modeling. Is your dimension shown or created on the drawing?
DO YOU MEAN WITHOUT OPENING THE DRAWING?
If the correct part is correctly referenced in the drawing view, it will update.
But it didn't
Try Ctrl-Q ? (force rebuild)
Check to make sure that override dimension is not checked? That's the only thing that comes to mind right away.
Make sure the drawing is referencing the correct part or asm;

Yep...Or as they say, "Help us help you."
Do you have configurations in your part?
1. Open that drawing with specific configuration (display state) which you need in "Solved" way, the modified dims. in model(s) (part /sub-assembly /assembly) should be reflected to the drawing;
2. Or just open the drawing, try Ctrl-Q (force rebuild) (Chris Saller);
3. If above both way failed, maybe check whether the relationship between the part(s) and the assembly was broken.
This is marked "assumed answered". Is your problem fixed? If so, what fixed it?
The figure itself updated but the numeric dimension didn't. I did that manually.

You should have Attached your files here and learned why it wasn't automatic.
