Hey all,
Just joined a new company and Solidworks is relatively new to me (I've used Creo all my professional life).
The company isn't huge on drawings, but when needed, they have a drawing template that they use. The Rev Block that's included on the drawing format isn't on the sheet format, it's on the main layer. There's an issue right now where when you fill in the "Rev" block, whatever you put is duplicated in the "By" block and vice versa. I can't see any sort of 'coding' behind the blocks or any logic, and my coworkers use drawings so infrequently that they've ignored this malfunction.
Any help here to make the functionality better?
If you click on the column letter in the blue region at the top of the table, you should get the Column Property Manager show up on the left of your screen.
At a guess, I'd say both of your "Rev" and "By" columns are set to use the same Column Property, rather than two different ones.
