HP Z Workstations

I saw a webcast today on the new HP Z workstations. I've been impressed with the xw series in previous benchmark tests, and often thought of using them for my next workstation. The webcast was pushing Autodesk products (for better or for worse, I'm not sure at this point in SW release cycle).

I've noticed that I am not able to customize the Z system at all, and they don't offer the Core i7 EE (my favorite pick based on my current Core 2 EE and Anna's punch holder specs).

Just wondered if there's anyone out there with a HP Z system that can provide some feedback, or if some of the techies can tell me what's good or bad on the Z system.

Of course, this all assumes I am able to reach someone from HP to sell me a system. I am in Ontario, and after calling for product information I was transferred to three different people, all who told me the next one was going to be the workstation specialist. I finally gave up and hung up the phone .
