All,
The Support area (including some certification & training content) on the SOLIDWORKS website (www.solidworks.com) is currently being redesigned, with updates planned over the next two months. This update will ensure that the Support area has a consistent look and feel as the rest of solidworks.com, including improved display on mobile devices.
The project is being rolled out in two phases shown below:
Phase 1 (by end of Jan 2020)
• FAQ
• Video Card Drivers
• System Recommendations
• Download Free Tools
• Community Download
• Request Support Forms
• For Academia
• API
• Activation & Licensing
• Certification & Training
• Release Schedule
Phase 2 (by end of Q1 2020)
• Hardware / Benchmark (Share / Compare your score)
• Hotfixes
• Download SOLIDWORKS
• Guides & Tutorials
• Subscription Services
• Early Visibility
• Document Key Manager
The first redesigned area, the graphics card driver page, will be visible to customers in mid-December. Other areas in phase 1 will be rolled out between now and the end of January 2020, and phase 2 areas are targeted to be complete by the end of Q1 2020.
Some content will be moving to MySolidWorks during this process:
• Admin Guides (What’s New and Release Notes) – week ending December 20th
• SolidPractices - week ending December 20th
• Certification (Virtual Tester – MySolidWorks Integration) - January 2020
• Training Files and Links – Q1 2020
• Certification Content – Q1 2020
For the areas moving to MySolidWorks the existing pages on solidworks.com will redirect to the new content.
