All of my lineweights are black, but when I send my files to my boss, the lineweights show up both grey and black.
That's not line weight.
It's Colors in System Option.
SW default grey for "Driven Dimensions" which is also most of Drawing Dimensions.
If it's just the color that's different, then I'd check if one of you has this toggled.
If it's not that, then more information would be helpful. Do you have screenshots or something to show what you're seeing?
That seems like the most likely culprit. I'll have my boss look at it.

There are sometimes good reasons to keep driven dimensions discernably different from driving dimensions. So, you may not want to change the color. The other option is to save the drawing as a black and white PDF (there's probably a print in b&w option too). That way you maintain the difference in the actual drawing file but the prints show correctly.
out of nowhere i have had lines change from solid to dashed on title blocks. Never seen the line weights change unless someone changed them. Now from machine to machine, they can look different but when you print them they should come out constant.
